JoanPIGGJoan passed away peacefully in Bishop Auckland Hospital surrounded by loving family on 13th January 2025, aged 89 years. The beloved wife of the late Maurice, much loved mam of Colin and Barry, loving grandma of Jenny, Emily, Emma and Rebecca, also a loving great grandma of Harrison. Joan will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Would friends please meet for the funeral service which will take place on Friday 7th February 2025 at 1:45pm at Christ Church, Consett, followed by a service at Mountsett Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired can be left on the day and the proceeds in Joan's memory will be forwarded to Willow Burn Hospice. There will be a collection box at the service.
