NormanRAINESIt's with deep sadness that the family announce the death of Norman Raines, who passed away peacefully on 3rd August 2026 at Carseld Residential Home in Brigg, aged 89 years.
Loving husband of the late Hilary, who passed in June, Dad to David, Father-in-law to Nicola and Grandad to Jack and Logan and their partners Charlotte and Tia. A much-loved Brother to Alan and Bob, Uncle, Great Uncle, friend and neighbour to many that knew him.
A service to celebrate Norman's life will be held at 12 noon on Friday 25th September at Lelley Fields Crematorium (Birch Hall), Sproatley Road, Preston, HU12 8FX.
Family flowers only please, donations, if so, desired can be made online to the Alzheimer's Society or may be donated at the service.
"No dress code, come as you are."
All are welcome after the service to join us for a drink at the Stag Inn at Lelley, to continue to remember Norman and to share more stories.
