It’s time for now to say so long, to one of the kindest friend and neighbour I’ve ever had. If I needed anything I knew I could come to you Joan, thank you . Go now and have a reunion with Brian and Michael, then all three of you can watch over Julie Ben and Paul
With regards Lynda and family

I first met Joan when we worked at Trueform shoe shop in Huddersfield in the 70s. We have kept in touch ever since and always exchanged birthday and Christmas cards. I no longer live in Huddersfield but we have spoken on the phone and she was very proud of her grandson Ben and always asked after my family. A dear friend who will be sadly missed. Unfortunately I am unable to attend Joan’s funeral as I am on holiday in Spain but will be thinking of you all and will raise a glass in memory of Joan.
In loving remembrance
