Alan, our dear next door neighbour, who we have known for 28 years, will be sadly missed. Fond memories of our conversations over the fence, putting the world to rights. Rest easy dear friend.
Love Cheryl, Robert and Family.

Well where do we begin. Over 54 yrs ago we met Alan who then lived with his Mother. We would hear him shout bye to her as he walked up the street clanging bottles in his bag. Couldn’t say what the bottles were 😂
But since then Alan became not only a neighbour but a dear friend.
He was always willing to undertake electrical work for us (fitting lights) and was excellent at his trade.
Over the years until he was unable we would hear him the back garden shouting at the lawn mower when it wouldn’t work. Sheila would always tell him to come in for a cuppa and you would hear him reply “ok love”.
He started to helping us to grow potatoes & runner beans and used to give us produce that he had grown.
We miss him but will always remember his kindness and beautiful smile.
