Ann CarolSCOTTWe are sad to announce the passing of our mum Carol.
She will be much missed by her children Chris, Sandy and Kate, grandchildren Emma, Matt, Maddy and Tom and her great-grandson Jaime.
She touched many lives in Chelmsford, not least the many children she taught at Westlands and Mildmay, and would always take great pleasure at being recognised by former pupils who'd been taught by Mrs Scott.
She lived a good life full of adventures and
travel - especially to Australia where her love of feeling sand between her toes has been passed down to her great grandson whose first paddle was captured on video and which Mum was able to see before she passed.
She loved music and dancing, we teased her about her stint with the Essex Morris dancers, but she knew how to throw a shape on the dance floor - even jumping on a chair once to dance to the music of Prince at Earls Court. Saturday nights were a long series of excited phone calls during Strictly Come Dancing about the quality of the dancing and the costumes.
There will be a funeral and Celebration on April 23rd, conducted by Adam and Greenwood who can supply details.
If you would like to remember Carol you could make a donation to the Farley Hospice who provided exceptional care and support in her last few days.
