Grant fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.I first met Grant just over four years ago, but he quickly became much more than a colleague. He was a friend, an encourager, and an example of someone who lived out his faith every day.Grant was never hesitant to share his faith in Jesus Christ and encouraged others, including me, to let their light shine in the workplace. His Christian faith was evident not only in what he said, but in how he lived, served, and cared for others. One of Grant's lasting legacies at Wandle was the prayer group he helped establish, bringing colleagues together to pray for one another, our organisation, and the wider housing sector. He also encouraged us to run an Alpha course at work, creating opportunities for people to explore faith and discuss life's deeper questions.Grant's kindness, integrity, encouragement, and unwavering trust in God left a lasting impression on many of us. While we are saddened by his passing, we are deeply grateful for the privilege of knowing him and for the positive impact he had on so many lives. As I remember Grant, I am reminded of John Wesley's final words: "The best of all is, God is with us." Grant lived with that assurance, and it sustained him throughout his life.To Mandy and the family, thank you for sharing Grant with us. He will be greatly missed, fondly remembered, and his legacy will continue through the many lives he touched
