The obituary notice of Graham John SMEE

Deepest condolences to Graham's family. Graham was a smashing cousin and we will sadly miss him. We are very sorry not to be able to make the funeral but will be thinking of you all.

and stories of your trips/adventures. Sweet dreams.

Graham was a very good friend and we met on our first day at work in 1958 and I will always cherish the memories of happy times we had with our families over these 58 years. Rest in peace.

Graham was a good friend with whom I shared many happy and inspiring experiences, (which still bring a smile). I first met Graham over 60 years ago at AEI Woolwich as a student apprentice. I learnt much from Graham, a competent and effective Engineer, who knew how to get things done without fuss. Graham was a very patient and friendly man who treated everyone in the same honest, human way. In the 1990’s, Graham, as General Manager of BICC Supertension and Subsea Cables, led the Management Team and Company through both the launching of XLPE cables and long length subsea cables and finally through difficult actions. Graham, from his fairness, openness and humanity inspired much loyalty.

Graham, thank you and rest in a well-deserved peace.
