Robert RoyTATEis with deep sorrow that the family of Robert 'Roy' Tate, aged 88, of Ratby, announces his passing on 9th June 2025.

Formerly married to Josephine, with whom he shared many happy years, Roy was a devoted father to Wendy, Tracey, Kimberley, and Sarah, and a much-loved Grandfather to Fern, Eric, Lily, Millie, Poppy, Dylan, Cerys, Archie, and family.

He was also a treasured father-in-law to Mark, Simon, and Dominic, and a loving uncle and brother to Tony, Barbara, Joan, Maureen, Brian, John, and Alan.

Roy's fuenral service will take place at 11:00am on Friday 11th July 2025 at St Philip & St James Church, Ratby, followed by interment in the Churchyard.
