GloriaUNDERWOOD(née Volpe) (Forest Hall) Gloria passed peacefully at home after a long illness on 7th November 2024 just 8 days short of her 90th birthday.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Robin, and their four daughters, Tina, Stella, Lisa and Rachael. A deeply loved and loving wife, mother and mother-in-law, granny and great-granny, remembered for her kindness by her brothers, nieces and nephews, friends, neighbours and everyone whose lives she touched.
Would family and friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St Mary's RC Church, Great Lime Road, Newcastle upon Tyne NE12 7AB on Wednesday 27th November 2024 at 12.15pm followed by interment at Benton Cemetery at 1.15pm.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK.
Reception afterwards to be announced at church.
The family send their sincere thanks to the District Nurses from NHS and the carers from KML Kare. They have all shown Gloria and her family unfailing care and respect.
