David HaighWHITEHOUSEWe cherish and celebrate the life of Dr David Haigh Whitehouse.

Adored Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa and respected doctor to generations of Redcar families.

Peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday 20th April 2025 aged 94 years.

Funeral service to take place on Friday 2nd May 2025 at 4pm at Kirkleatham Crematorium. Would family and friends please meet at chapel.

Donations in lieu of flowers to RNLI and Give to Leeds (The University of Leeds and its School of Medicine benefit significantly from donations, which support student scholarships and financial assistance programs.)

David was both our family doctor and the medical adviser to the Redcar lifeboat for many years. Not only an outstanding doctor in the community but also a true gentleman, the likes of who are rarely seen. RIP.
