I met you Betty, and Bob in the Bariloche, Moraira many years ago. As a fellow Coventrian, I loved seeing your smiling face that would light up the room! I missed seeing you here since you both returned to UK and very sad now to hear you've passed 😔 Rip Betty and together again now with your Bob ❤️❤️

Mum, miss you so much. No messages from you on my phone and I’m missing our chats about Emmerdale and Corrie. Love you loads xx

It was with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Betty, only a few months after the loss of her beloved husband, Bob.

For many people, Betty and Bob will always be remembered for the years they spent together running one of the city’s best-loved pubs. They created far more than just a business; they created a place where people came together, friendships were formed, and memories were made. Their warmth, hard work, and dedication earned them the respect and affection of countless people over the years.

There is comfort in knowing that Betty and Bob are together once again. Their legacy lives on through the many lives they touched and through their loving family.

Our thoughts are with Emma, Jamie and Jenny, and the wider family and all who knew and loved Betty at this difficult time.

Dear Betty was an absolute treasure we met you and Bob when we bought a place in Moraira. You both made us feel welcome and we loved the times we got to share with you and Bob over a gin and tonic or two at the Bariloche. You both told us great tales and we will cherish our memories of you both. Reunited together where you both belong. Sincere condolences to family they will both be missed.
