Peacefully in hospital with her loving family by her side on 16th August aged 48 years. Sammy (nee Dunn).

A devoted daughter of Sonia and Allan.

Treasured mam of Alannah.

A loving sister of Paul and Allan and sister in law of Sam. Loving Aunty of Georgia, Charlie, Lewis and Ollie, also a dearly loved niece of Alan, Carol, John, Maggie, Paul and Caroline. Loving cousin of Claire, Hayley, Deano, Lorna, Lee and Joe.

Sammy will be forever loved and sadly missed by all her loving family, many friends and her big friendship team at the Freeman Hospital.

Family and friends please meet for service at West Road Crematorium on Friday 28th August at 2.00pm.

It is hard to find the right words.

Sam and I shared many years together and, although our lives took different paths, we shared the greatest gift either of us could ever have wished for in our beautiful daughter, Alannah.

Watching Alannah grow into the young woman she is today is a testament to the love, dedication and strength that Sammy showed throughout her life.

I will always be grateful that Alannah had such a caring and devoted mam. Thank you, Sam, for giving me the greatest gift of my life.

You fought incredibly hard, and I know how much you loved her.

My heart breaks that Alannah must now find her way through life without her mam, but I promise I will be there for her, every step of the way....And I know you will be looking down on her.

Rest peacefully. You will always have a place in our memories. xx
