ColinAITKENformerly of White Rose Avenue Dalton then Lindley passed away peacefully at 8.45am on 26th February 2025 at Astley Grange Nursing Home following a long tough battle with Cancer which he fought courageously and with dignity throughout.
Son of the late May & Bernard Aitken, brother of Bernard, Jill & Carol, loving uncle of Kay - Great uncle to Rebecca, Aimee, Louise, Sarah & Kelly, Great Great uncle to Ava & Toby.
Colin was a life long supporter of Huddersfield Town and will be greatly missed by many.
His funeral will take place on 18th March 2025 at Huddersfield Crematorium, Fixby at 10.30am - please meet at the Crematorium unless you would like to accompany Colin on his final journey to the Crematorium if so, please meet at Mackness Funeral Home, Wakefield Road, Moldgreen at 9.45am.
The funeral will be live streamed.
A collection plate will be available in lieu of flowers which will go to Kirkwood Hospice.
Anyone wishing to wear a Huddersfield Town Shirt is welcome.
Afterwards please join us at The Black Bull, West Street, Lindley for a drink.
