This is Jacqueline Crawley. We stayed with Len and Betty for some weeks probably in the early 1970s ( or late 60s?). Mum (Mary) and dad (robert”Bob” adored Len and Betty and kept in touch via Christmas cards for years. Dad was working for the Swansea Evening Newspaper (on transfer from Hull) I recall such a fun time. Len used to freeze extra ice for my milk with ice drinks. They came down the fri t with us one day to see the boats. This was the first time I drank grapefruit juice! The B&B was a home from home. And that was down to Len and Betty and how they treated us all like family. Sending my deepest sympathies. Mary passed away 2021, Bob 2005. They will all be having a grapefruit juice ( or more likely something stronger) together. God bless. Happy to exchanges addresses if needed. Jacqui Crawley. ( and sister Susan). Xx

Auntie Betty, Martin & Michael

I am so sorry for your loss I can only imagine your absolute sadness.

I have so many fond memories of my childhood as a result of you all, in particular the holiday in Spain when the lights fused. Luckily for us Uncle Len was able to telephone the reception desk and explain our dilemma - in his version of Spanish - clearly fluent as we were fixed pretty quickly - it still makes me smile!

He also never failed to put a goal in the back of the net when I was at a home game!

Healing thoughts at this time, love always
