After working for Dr Anderson for many years when he was a Consultant Anaesthetist, Medical Director and Chief Executive. I found him to be a kind and considerate boss. Everyone he met he treated fairly and was very friendly. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I met Dr Anderson in 2011, when I started in Queens Hospital Burton. I did have a chance to work with him before he retired from anaesthetics. He was a very enthusiastic, supportive and excellent teacher. He also trained us in using Meditech. He contributed invaluable development to our Burton Queens Hospital.
Dr Anderson will surely be missed by all of us.

David was a hugely likeable and inspirational man, for whom I had enormous respect. He was considered by many of us as the father of the anaesthetic department in Burton, and continued to make a major contribution to the hospital long after his retirement. He will be greatly missed by all of us who were lucky enough to be his colleagues.
