I am shocked and saddened to see about Paul's passing. He was such a wonderful neighbour and always had time for chats over the hedge, talking about his caravan trips.
He was brilliant with our little boy, I'd often find Thomas with Paul feeding the fish in the pond.
He was such a kind and caring gentleman and its a great loss.
One memory i have that makes me chuckle when I reminisce was his fear of heights and coming out to see Paul wobbling half way up a set of ladders determined to get to the roof to clean his gutters. From that day forward there was an unspoken agreement that Paul cut the hedge and my husband and I would clean his gutters for him.
May Paul rest in peace, love from Hannah, Ian and Thomas x

Thinking of Anne & Paul’s family at this time. Paul will be sadly missed by everyone at Acorn Wood where he spent many hours fishing and enjoying his caravan xx

I grew up in Broughton with Paul and then spent my time on the steelworks working along side him . So sad to hear the news of his passing .
