Much respect to Mr Archer i spent a lot of time with him as I was always on detention. I'd have to stand outside his office on all breaks 😩 then report back to him at the end of each day with my daily class reports. I'd even sit in his office as he was working because I was distracted when standing outside 😅. Looking back he was a good man & had many opportunities to lose his cool but never did once. He was always finding a way to put me back on the good track. I've so many memories of this man & they all conclude with him helping me conduct myself better. R.I.P Mr Archer.

I am saddened to hear of Chris's passing. He was a great headteacher when I was a pupil (and in the summers of 1997 and 1998 during my work experience) at Top Valley Comprehensive. He was always very supportive, caring and thoughtful. My thoughts are with his family.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I enjoyed working alongside Chris at Top Valley School. He was a fantastic boss. Sandra Creamer (Office staff)
