Bill was my Dad Phil Argument's last remaining cousin. Dad is about 3 months younger than Bill, a spring chicken at 90 and lives in a care home in Albion Park Rail, NSW, Australia having emigrated in 1968 with his wife Eileen and sons Stephen, Michael and Philip. Twins James and Susan were born in Australia.
I had the pleasure of reconnecting Bill and Phil in the last 6 months or so, reading out Bill's correspondence and typing emails in response from my Dad. We shared photographs and memories, although sadly Dad's vision prevented him from seeing the photos.
I did meet Bill once, when I was 10 back in 1982, and enjoyed reconnecting. I became quite fond quite quickly of him, and I will miss seeing his emails received overnight as I slept.
My dad is disappointed he can't join the funeral in person, or even remotely via video link, and is sad his remaining cousin, who he remembers with fondness is no longer with us.
The Argument's in Australia send our love and Phil says 'Rest easy cousin'.
