grandad , we knew each other for all of my 47 years , but it was the last 4 that I got to know you more having spent many a pub lunch an trip together, I won’t lie you was often hard work moaning like victor meldrew but I know you cared for people deep down and found it difficult to express that . occasionally you even said thank you lol . Good bye grandad , we’ve shared the last beers , the last cheers and now I shed my tears , your at peace now , together again with your wife and my nan Elsie , good bye captain slow the journey is now stopped .
