My brother & Uncle Eddie Atkinson

Our eldest brother, our family’s leader, the one who stood by us all and never let us down.

You were the backbone of our family, always there to help your brother and sisters through thick and thin.

With a heart full of love, you gave us your time, your strength and support. Your intelligence was second to none, always come back with the correct answer.

You had a playful spirit and a great sense of humour, always found ways to make us laugh. You loved to play tricks on us, keeping life fun.

Your laughter, your wisdom, your kindness will never be forgotten. You made life brighter with your presence.

We love you so much, until we meet again brother.

My darling husband Eddie.

I write this with tears in my eyes as it's so hard to say goodbye. But I want to celebrate the wonderful man you were and the happy and precious life we had together.

I feel truly Blessed and grateful to have had you as my wonderful husband for 56 years. You were the joy in my life and the light in my days. You were amazing and you lit up every day of those 56 years of our marriage with happiness and love and I will miss you all the days of my life.

You were the best of husbands, my best friend and the best and adored father, grandfather and great grandfather. You were also a much loved brother and uncle. Your whole life was marked by the love you gave to your family and the love and respect your family and extended family had for you.

My darling yours was a life well lived and you have left a hole in all of our lives too huge to fill. I will miss your undying love and kindness every day and I find it so hard to think of the future without you.

Thank you for always being my rock, for always listening and supporting me in all I did. I will treasure all of our happy memories and you will remain in my heart forever the love of my life.

May God Bless you and keep you in His care until we meet again.

Your loving wife

Uncle Ed,

The best Uncle I could ever have asked for. You were always there with the best advice, a listening ear, and, of course, your cheeky sense of humour that could wind us all up and have us laughing no matter what.

It’s so hard to believe you’re no longer here. Life will never be the same without you, and I will miss you more than words could ever explain. But I feel so lucky and grateful to have had you as my Uncle and to have shared so many precious memories, laughs and special moments with you over the years.

Those memories will stay in my heart forever and will be treasured for the rest of my life. Whenever I think of you, I’ll remember your smile, your laughter and that cheeky personality we all loved so much.

Fly high, Uncle Ed. Until we meet again, know that you will always be loved, always be missed, and never, ever forgotten.

Love you always and forever,
Your loving niece,
Natalie (Natty) xx ❤️🕊️
