Mary PaulineAYREDied peacefully in the Freeman Hospital on 7th May 2025, aged 79 years.

Pauline was a much loved wife of Brian, mother of Kirsty and Duncan, grandmother of Sian, Abbi and Lucy, sister of Anne and auntie of Peter and Michael. Pauline will be greatly missed.

At Pauline's request, a direct cremation will take place followed by a family celebration of her life.

I knew Pauline after she had left the job and stayed in contact over the years. A thoroughly nice person. RIP Pauline. Condolences Brian.

Pauline and I met at work and immediately became friends I have so many happy memories of her She had such wit and humour for any occasion But most of all I will miss her unconditional friendship she was a true friend and I will miss her greatly

So sad to read this news

Fond memories of my lovely friend Pauline. A much loved client , I am the hairdresser mentioned in one of her amazing poems that “sorted her fringe”
We became such good friends over the years . So sorry she missed out moving to her “forever “ home in Hexham .
