Renato Giovanni FrancescoBACCHETTAPassed peacefully on Sunday 19th March, with his family around him in Longbridge Deverill, Wiltshire. Loving father of Renata, Carla and Adrio, a dear father-in-law, a wonderful grandfather to seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Ron was born on the February 17th, 1932 in Abercynon to Serafino and Dorinda Bacchetta. Husband to Yvonne, brother to Aldo, Mario and Sandra. Ron was a proud and active member of the Welsh-Italian community, working with his family at Bacchetta's café and delicatessen in Station Street, Porth and one time Chairman of the District Chamber of Trade. He loved sport, playing rugby for Tylorstown RFC in his youth and then enjoyed golf into his eighties, playing near his home in Talbot Green. He brought love and laughter to many. He will be missed greatly, and his time will be celebrated as a life well-lived. Funeral Monday April 24th Requiem Mass at All Hallows RC Church, Miskin at 12.45pm, followed by interment at Cefn-y-Parc Cemetery. Truly the most wonderful father we could have wished for. He brought love joy and laughter throughout his life. He was always there for me when young and whenever times got shaky in adult life ... I'd turn around and there he was. He's passed but he's still here. Adrio
