Sandra MaryBACKHOUSEIt is with great sadness to announce that Sandie, aged 75 years, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday 11th June 2026, whilst in the care of the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.
A beloved wife to David, a much loved Mum to John and Vanessa, a wonderful Nan to Andrew and Anna, a dear Sister to Janet, Jenny, Paul and the late Helen. A dear Mother-in-law to Anne, Sandie was also a cherished auntie, a good friend to many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Sandie's Life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 8th July at 3.00pm.
By request family flowers only, but donations in memory of Sandie can be made to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, a donation box will be available on the day.
