Well Dad, Mum is finally at rest with you. Hope she isn't giving you too much ear ache!!. You have both left such a big space in my heart it sometimes feels like its going to break. I talk about you both all the time and although it upsets me, a lot, it makes me feel better to pass on some of the good times we had together. There is a lot you have missed out in within the family already, the birth of 3 grandsons for a start and there is going to be so much more you are going to miss out on in the future, but I know you are watching over us, especially my girls and they are going to make you so proud. Marriage, kids, good jobs, house, who knows what the future holds but I will always talk about you and mum and let them know that I tell you everything that goes on in their lives. I miss your words of wisdom and believe it or not even the odd argument that we used to have. I would give anything just to have one more day with the both of you. I miss and love you so much.

Dad you are going to be a great grandad for the second time with another boy. They will never hear your laughter or see your funny walks but I will make sure that they know all about you and all the love you would have given them if you were here. I miss you every day Dad and it doesn't get any easier no matter what anyone says.

Another Christmas looms without you Dad. It doesnt get any easier. I tell the kids all the time about you and the daft things you used to say and do. I had so many wonderful years with you, they werent so lucky. But they all know what a wonderful grandad you would have been if you hadnt been taken from us in such a cruel way. We al love and miss you so much. God bless Dad xx

Dad its 10 years today since you were taken from us and yet it only seems like yesterday. The pain of your loss and the emptiness you have left behind does not ever go unnoticed. You have 6 wonderful grandchildren and a great grandson that you never got to meet, but he is sweet and funny and you would adore him. We think and talk about you all the time. It has hit the girls harder as they got to spend less time with you than the boys. We all miss and love you so very much. People say time is a great healer. Its a load of rubbish. 10 years have flown by and it still hurts just as much as it did the evening you passed. You will be in our hearts forever. We all love you, dad, granddad and great granddad xx

Dad I miss you every day and wish we had had longer to be father and daughter. I want to talk to you and get your advice on things that are going on in my life at the moment. The kids miss you a great deal and talk about you all the time. You went too soon and in the most dreadful way. I love and miss you Dad xx I wish you were still here to give your sarcastic comments and your silly walks, to go to the pub with and just spend time with. I thought it was mum who was the glue keeping this family together but have now realized that it wasn't her, it was you. You will be forever in my heart and thoughts. I love you.
