MargaretBAILEYSadly Margaret Bailey passed away peacefully at home on 19th February 2023 at the age of 95 devoted Wife of the late Harry William Bailey. Margaret is resting at Summers Funeral Home Newport Road Cardiff until her Funeral service on Thursday 30th March at 10.00am at the Cyncoed Methodist Church, Cyncoed Road Cardiff, followed by her Cremation at the Wenallt Chapel Thornhill Crematorium at 11.45am. Margaret has requested no flowers; any donations are to be kindly donated to her chosen charities. British Heart Foundation and Marie Curie Hospice at Holme Towers All enquiries to James Summers Roath Court Funeral Home Newport Road Cardiff.

I was a friend and classmate of Margaret’s about 1935 at Roath Park SchooI. I emmigrated to Canada when I was nine years old. Margaret reached out to me by letter about 15 years ago and the two of us became penpals in our 80’s and 90’s! Margaret was a dear friend and I will miss her. Please accept my sincere condolences.
