JohnBAKERSadly on Saturday, 2nd February 2019, John, Formerly from Pontypridd, aged 79 years, passed peacefully away, at Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth in the presence of his loving family. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Margaret. Devoted dad to Stephen, Helen, and Craig father in law to Donna, Simon, and Mathew, treasured grand dad to Ryan John. John was loved by his Family and friends, and will be sadly missed by all but never forgotten. Resting at Ely Funeralcare 477 Cowbridge Road West, Ely, Cardiff until the Funeral. Service will be held at Cardiff and Glamorgan Memorial Park & Crematorium, Port Road Barry on Tuesday12th February, 2019 at 4.00pm. Family request bright colours please no black ties. Family Flowers Only, donations in lieu, if desired, would be appreciated for either Velindre Cancer Care Trust of City Hospice via a retiring collection at the Crematorium.

I remember back in the 1970’s when I used to give you a lift from Rhydyfelin to Cardiff in my old battered Mini, I can still see you standing on the bus stop with your briefcase under your arm!! We shared many happy times with lots of laughter when you were Landlord at the Horse and Jockey pub. Sleep peacefully John god bless. Andrea and Ken.
