Ronald (Ron)BARBERPeacefully on June 10th at Brownlee Court Care Home surrounded by his loving family, Ron aged 105 Years.

Loving husband of the late Pearl and the late Dorothy, a very special father, father-in-law, cherished grandad, great grandad, great great grandad, much loved brother and uncle.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.

Funeral service and cremation to take place on Friday 20th June at 2pm in St Bede's Chapel, Teesside Crematorium. Friends please meet at St Bede's Chapel and afterwards at New Marske Sports and Social Club, 2 Gurney Street, Marske, Redcar, TS11 8EQ.

Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to The Green Howard Association and Brownlee Court Residents Fund. A collection plate will be available outside the Chapel.

Ron was the last of a generation of true gentlemen who I had the honour of calling my friend. Ron had a wicked sense of humour and knowing him for over 40 years has been a joy and blessing.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family who have looked after and cared for Ron all these years.
RIP soldier/friend/colleague and thank you for your service xx
