The obituary notice of Susan Margaret ("Sue") BARKER

Sue your brought me into the care industry with your training that gave me the skills and confidence to be a good carer, we then became friends and then as your manager before you retired.
I have so many memories of curry nights, meals out and christmas parties, some great laughs and will cherish them.
A great friend and will miss you dearly xx

Remembering Sister Sue Barker, who employed me in 1981 after I qualified. An excellent mentor who taught me loads and contributed to me become the nurse I was for 40 years.

Sorry to hear about the loss of Sue. I was in the same “set” as Sue that began in 1967 and have fond memories of our time at Brookfield and beyond. RIP Sue. Lynda Hawkes.

Sister Sue Barker will always be remembered as a dedicated, caring nurse. Who managed the LRI Burns Unit with outstanding effectiveness & efficiency. Always putting patients first & looking after her staff. Highly professional and respected. God Bless. Dr Ann Driver
