William JohnBARNES ISMPassed away peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday 30th December 2023 at Derriford Hospital, aged 83, with his wife and brother by his side.
Bill, a former shipwright in Devonport Dockyard, was the devoted and much loved husband of Janet (Marjorie Janet), very proud father of Lyn and Sue, dearest grandad of Andrew, father-in-law of Trevor and Mark, and loving son of the late Fred and Ruby Barnes, brother of John and the late Jean, George and Dorothy.
Funeral service to be held on Wednesday 24th January at 14:45pm at Efford Crematorium.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, can be made by retiring collection, to benefit The British Heart Foundation, in memory of Bill.
