James (Jim)BARNETTPeacefully on Friday February 14th, Jim, formerly of Bridgend now of Carmarthen, passed away at home after a short battle with Alzheimer's.
Born in Cardiff in 1941, Jim raced motorcycles and worked as a motorcycle technician for South Wales Police from 1972 until his retirement in 2006. Jim was a skilled Aikidoka, Shihan Jim started practising Aikido in 1982. Jim Sensei a Rakudan and loyal certificated member of the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai Kyota Japan.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gill and children Jenny, Sally and Jeff, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral service on Friday March 14th at Llanelli Crematorium at 2.00pm.
