RexBARRIBALLIn loving memory of Rex Barriball, devoted husband to Jenny and father to Sarah, Andrew and Justin, who sadly passed away at Broomfield Hospital on 5th February 2023. Rex served in the Royal Air Force for over 30-years, attaining the rank of Wing Commander. He worked briefly for Marconi Radar in Chelmsford before becoming the Secretary of the Royal Blackheath Golf Club for 9-years. Rex was also Conservative Party Councillor for Writtle and was elected Deputy Mayor of Chelmsford in 2002. Following a private cremation, the family will be holding a Service of Celebration at All Saints Church, Writtle on Thursday 9th March at 2pm. Please feel free to wear a splash of colour! No flowers please, but donations to the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund would be gratefully received. You can donate online at: www.mluckingandsons.co.uk/donations
