Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday 5th December 2023 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital aged 89 years.
John, devoted husband and best friend to Valerie, dearly loved dad to David, his wife Carrie and grandsons Adam and James, loving stepdad to Carl, Kim, Anne, her husband Jamie and granddaughters Jaime and Georgia, also a dear brother in law, uncle and friend.
Please meet for a funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Swalwell on Friday 22nd December at 11:45am followed by cremation at Saltwell Crematorium.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Holy Trinity Church.
