The obituary notice of Jacqueline BARTLE

Jacqueline touched my life.

We lived a few houses away from the Bartle family when I was growing up in Billingham. I have the warmest memories of sleepovers at her house, from listening to the Bay City Rollers to evenings singing at the Baptist Church. I was about eight or nine at the time, Jacqueline was only five years older which sadly meant was leaving Northfield just as I was starting. I'd have so loved the warm reassurance of her when I started 'big school'. Life circumstances meant we lost touch though I heard that Jacqueline used to see me as I grew up, complimented me as I walked to the Forum icerink as a teenager. I admit I was devastated when I heard what had happened, it was only this year. Jacqueline you hold a place in my heart and I can only imagine what a beautiful family you have. Jo X
