JeanBEECHJean Beech, aged 81, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side, following a short admission at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Wednesday, February 23. Jean had previously worked at Shepherd Bros, Rossendale Hospital and also Winfield’s, prior to her retirement. A keen bingo player who regularly attended bingo halls in the local area. Jean leaves behind her devoted husband Alan, son Stephen, daughter-inlaw Denise and two grandchildren, Emily and Zoey. Also, her sister Barbara and her husband Gerald, along with nieces Valerie and Angela. Her funeral will take place on Friday, March 4, at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only, with donations if desired to SSAFA (the Armed Forces Charity) c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson Durning & Woods Funeral Service, Haslingden.
