WilliamBEECHWilliam Beech, known to many as 'Bill' unexpectedly passed away on the 29th August 2026 aged 84 years whilst in Diana, Princess of Wales hospital.

Son to the late Ivy Cowdroy, beloved brother to the late Dave, Patricia, George and Beryl, partner to Judith, very much loved father to Emma, step-father to Sean, loving Grandfather to Ryan, Beth and Mary, great grandfather to Hudson-Rae, much loved by Judith's children Simon & Rachel and Judith's grandaughter Ebony, greatly loved Uncle and Godfather and a cherished friend to many along with his furry friends Teddy and Poppy. Bill will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Bill was a hardworking respectable family man who led a very full, sociable life including working as a driving instructor, delivery driver for Mackeson, delivering on bread rounds for Mothers Pride, Doorman at Tiffany's, meat salesman for Beechwood Foods, shop owner at W & MM Beech in Carr Lane, taxi driver and helping manage the Tea Rooms in Cleethorpes. Bill was an active committee member for the Cleethorpes Athletics Club for a number of years and a competitive bowler at Sussex Recreation Grounds in Cleethorpes

A full service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 23rd September at 3pm, no dress code necessary and all who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.

Family Flowers only please but if so desired, donations in Bill's memory will go towards life saving equipment in the Intensive Therapy Unit made via The Health Tree Foundation, these donations may be sent c/o the Funeral Director or in a donation box on the day situated in the gardens of remembrance.
