Sonia Irene SandraBELSEYSonia Belsey 'nee' Ward, formerly of Rolleston on Dove, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children 13th September 2026 aged 82 years.

Devoted wife to her late husband Nick, beloved mum to Stephen, Susan and Peter. Much loved Grandma/Nanny, Aunty and Sister. A friend to everyone who knew her.

Funeral Friday 16th October, service 10am in the Willow Room at Bretby Crematorium.

Please wear formal attire with a splash of colour (not green).

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Sonia will benefit Treetops Hospice, and may be placed in the donation box at the service.

I knew Sonia when she was with Mum at Mount Pleasant. They were the best of friends until mum had to leave. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. Thinking of her family and sending much love at such a sad time. Rachel Gibbs (Jean Coombes daughter) xxx
