The obituary notice of Peter John BENTLEY

I met Peter his first parkrun, I was tail walking and we had a lovely chat. It has been over 2 years since I visited Thornbury parkrun and as usual I looked out for Peter. When he wasn't there, I googled his name in case... gutted to find this news. I feel privileged to have met him and send belated best wishes to his family.

Dear Alice. I’m thinking of you during this very difficult time. Peter was a fantastic Headteacher at Krefeld School and was the life and soul that lit up any room. Krefeld School was a special place as was Hampshire School where we first met Alice. Take care and take care of yourself. Love from Lynn Eckersley nee Goodacre. X

I will always remember the joy Peter felt from the links he helped establish with Nepal. Such a thoughtful and kind man who gave so much to so many people. It was a privilege to serve as a school governor when he was the headteacher.
