Janet PatriciaBETTISONIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Bettison (Retired Headteacher) on Wednesday 14th May 2025 aged 86 years. Janet passed away peacefully at Greenacres Care Home with her daughter by her side.

A devoted and dearly loved Wife to David. Loving Mum to Sally and Colin. Mother-in-law to Chris and Heather. Much cherished Gran to Joseph, Rosie, Emily and Hannah. Great Gran to Lily-Mae and Evelyn.

Janet was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Mum, you will be forever remembered and always in our hearts.

Funeral service will be held at St. Edwards Church, Church Hill, Eggbuckland, Plymouth, PL6 5RN on Friday 30th May 2025 at 10:00am. Please wear a touch of pink in celebration of Janet's life.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired for The Stroke Association or Guide Dogs For The Blind Association may be left online at wcpltd.com/donate

I worked with Janet at St. Edward's School it was such a pleasure knowing her.

I was saddened to hear of Janet's passing and my thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
It was a privilege to work alongside her at St Edward's Primary School and I will always remember many happy and fun occasions.
