John was a devoted husband to his wife Helen and a much loved father to Sarah and David. John will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all those who knew and loved him.

Donations if desired, in memory of John, may be made to the Stroke Association.

Really Sad to hear. He was a really good guy who gave me a place on the comm st course in 1988 and liked my work as well . Wouldn’t have met my friends or my wife Jo without him or possibly got a degree as he took a chance on us . I can still remember his voice and mannerism from 36 years ago and Rob, Tim, Sean Michelle Dave A ….. RIP Johns
