StuartBIDDICKOn January 11 2021, Rodney STUART, aged 87 years of Delabole, passed away peacefully at Treliske Hospital. Beloved husband of Jean (deceased). Much loved Dad of Susan, Carolyn, Sally & Mark (deceased) also Julia. A treasured Grandad, Great Grandad & Great Great Grandad. He will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends. Due to COVID restrictions a Private Funeral Service will be held at Delabole Methodist Church on Friday January 22nd at 1pm, following the service Stuart will be laid to rest with his beloved Jean at Delabole Cemetery. You are welcome to stand at the roadside on the route, please respect social distancing. Donations in memory of Stuart may be given to benefit Delabole Methodist Church by retiring collection or c/o Stephens & Harris Funeral Directors, Trewalder, Delabole, PL33 9ET. Tel: 01840212340.

Just heard the news about Stuart. I worked with and Mark for years and have wonderful memories of all his story telling. On top of this, he honoured our wedding 27 years ago by playing for us. God bless you Stuart. Richard and Rosie Hamm

I remember Stuart from his youth at Boscastle. We both played in the Boscastle Band. I kept in touch until recently and feel a real sense of loss. My sympathies to his family.

Singing with Stuart at The Mill when Harry and Angela were there. We were so lucky to experience that and it was down to Stuarts skill, he grew up with my mum too in Delabole.
