It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Frederick “Don” Birch, who passed away peacefully following a short illness. Don dedicated his career to public service, working for both Staffordshire County and Borough Councils. He was a devoted husband to Janet, a loving father to Darren, and a cherished grandpa to Matthew, Lucas, and Skye. He was also a caring father-in-law to Lynda.
Don will be fondly remembered as a kind and thoughtful friend and colleague, a true gentleman who adored his wife and family. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those he loved will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service to celebrate Don’s life will take place on Wednesday 11th June 2025 at 11:00am at St Thomas’s Church, Walton on the Hill, Stafford, followed by interment at Stafford Crematorium.
