We would like to announce the passing of John Birchall, beloved Husband to Colette, Father to Claire & John, Father-in-law to Carlos & Ashley, Grandad to Sophia, Amelia, Eva, Mia, Charli & Cora, Brother to Tommy.

John passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones.

All family and friends are welcome to attend his funeral service, which will be held on Monday March 17th at 2-3pm at West Lancashire Crematorium, Pippin St, Burscough, L40 7SP. His celebration of life will follow at 3:15-6:15pm at The Aviary, Blindman's Lane, Ormskirk, L39 3AD.

Family flowers only or donations to Cancer Research.

Deepest sympathy to Collette, Claire and John and all the family.
John gave me my first job at Shapes in Kirkby back in 1984.....
Without that I wouldn't be where I am today.. thank you John

So sorry to hear the sad news that John has passed.
My sympathy goes to Collette and the family.
My brother and his wife were close friends with them back in the day and I have lovely memories of the times they spent together. Thinking of you all.

Really sad,devastated,to hear this awful news.It’s a long time since I last saw John but back in the ‘coffee bar/ motorbike days’ in Formby we were great mates. I will always remember John as one of the very best.RIP good pal.
