NeilBIRCHLEYNeil sadly passed away on Tuesday 25th October 2022 at Gloucester Royal Hospital. He was a Brother to Anthony and Brother-In-Law to Marie. Neil was a loving Uncle to Karen, Nicola and Anna-Marie and a wonderful Great Uncle. He was a devoted Godfather to Denise and her 3 children. In his early life Neil volunteered with the Scouts and later on spent a great deal of his time working at Charity Shops, Shop Mobility to name just one of the charities he supported. Neil was a friend to many and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. The funeral shall take place at Gloucester Crematorium on 17th November 2022 at 12:00. Family Flowers only, in lieu of flowers donations are being collected in memory of Neil for The Scout Association C/O Selim Smith, Heron Lodge Funeral Home Painswick Road Gloucester GL4 4QJ

Dearest Neil I’m so sorry to hear of your passing the world is going to be a sadder place without you in it . It was an honour to work beside you at RAF Innsworth your knowledge on how the system worked was unbelievable and there wasn’t a day go by we didn’t have a laught over something . RIP dear friend and thank you for some good memories I will have to remember you by. Myrna .

Uncle Neil. I'll forever remember you're happy greetings to me, the, Hi Gal that you always greeted me with. It didn't matter how often we saw each other, we simply picked up where we left off. Like my sister's I've fond memories of bed time stories, going camping together, even though tents were not my fortay which made you laugh, walking on Boxing day and enjoying Christmas together, a box of roses and Creature castle or cards, or dare I say Monopoly. This year will feel extremely strange without you here. Sleep well UN. Lots of love AM xx
