AlanBIRKBECKPeacefully on Monday 6th November in hospital and of Ewood, Blackburn, "Birdy" aged 74 years, much loved husband of Annette, devoted dad to Christine and Kenneth, loving grandad to Christian, Scott, Benjamin, Sarah-Jane, Tyler, Reece and Lauren, cherished great grandad to Lexi, Mason, Olivia, Tommy, Willow, Ronnie, Auriella and brother in law to Pat.
Funeral Service and cremation will take place at Pleasington Crematorium on Tuesday 28th November at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please but donations if so desired to Blue Skies, c/o and further enquiries to Harry Gibbs, Blackburn Funeral Services, 9 New Wellington Street, Blackburn. BB2 4DY. GOD bless you Alan, you WILL ALWAYS be a part of your beloved Rovers. It feels strange you not being at Ewood, I cant remember ever going to a game (home or away) over the last 60 years or so without you being there. You will no doubt be catching up with all the Rovers greats thats also passed on. Till we meet again Birdy. Your old pal "TACKY FROM ACCY"
