Derek NortonBIRRELLdied peacefully after a short illness, aged 92 years, on 3 September in Gloucester Royal Hospital. Will be very sadly missed by his family including his son Ian, sister Joyce, daughter-in-law Hilary, Owen, Richard, Gareth and Jacqui, Alison, Adam and Helen, Emma and Greig, his great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral to be held at Bishops Cleeve Methodist Church, Bishops Close, GL52 8NT on Thursday 28 September at 1.30pm.
Donations in lieu of flowers will be gratefully received for Blind Veterans UK on the day or sent care of Alexander Burn, Funeral Directors,
22 Church Road, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, GL52 8LR.

So sorry to hear of Derek's passing, I always found him gentle and kind and most interesting with his stories about him flying and his love of the stars.
Rest in Peace Derek I will miss seeing you
