GordonBOOTHpassed away peacefully at home, on June 7, with his four daughters, Sylvia, Colette, Janet and Wendy by his side. He was married to the late Doreen for many years, besides his daughters, he leaves sons-in-law, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. Gordon lived in Bacup most of his life before moving to Rawtenstall, but his heart was left in Bacup. He worked at Smith and Nephew Textiles for many years before retiring. He loved his garden and enjoyed helping neighbours with their gardens and doing odd jobs for them. He also travelled abroad with his wife to many countries. Reverend Derek Allen will officiate at the Service at Burnley Crematorium on Monday, June 19 at 3.15pm. Donations if desired for Rossendale Hospice, c/o Woods Funeral Service, 1/3 South Street, Bacup, OL13 9HU tel, 01706 877944.
