TimothyBOOTHIt is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our eldest son Timothy Booth on June 15th 2026 aged 44 yrs in Shanghai China. A precious and much loved son of Stephen and Lorna Booth, loved brother, devoted husband, proud father and a dear friend to many.
Tim was in his element when he was performing. He loved to share this joy with others through teaching and directing. We will remember Tim as a wonderfully creative, charismatic person taken from us far too soon. Tim's cremation was held in Shanghai.
His wife, Kirsty, requests that we all celebrate his life in a way that is meaningful to you.

I was a former student under Mr. Booth. He was an energetic and passionate man dedicated to his craft. I've learned from him not only the nuances of acting, but also the scope of practical applications acting has on my every-day life.

It is with deep regret that I did not get the opportunity to see Mr. Booth again after returning to Shanghai. I would've thanked him for his guidance, and remind him just how important a role he played shaping the core memories of all the fellow students he crossed paths with.

Mr. Booth will be dearly missed. His legacy will live through us all.

I was a high school student who developed an interest for acting under Mr. Booth. Thanks to his passion, I learned to not only perform, but to broaden the scope of my understanding of how elements of drama applies to every-day-life.

I wish I had the chance to thank Mr. Booth again for demonstrating his dedication to the craft, and tell him how important a role he played forming core memories of fellow students he crossed paths with.

Mr. Booth will be missed dearly by us all. May his legacy live on.

We are so shocked and deeply saddened to read this. Tim was such a receptive violin pupil!
Be assured of our thoughts and prayers. Sending Steve & Lorna and families so much love, you will be heartbroken.
