ColinBOTTOMSIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Colin Bottoms, beloved husband to Josie and devoted father to Jackie, Paul, and Craig. Colin was a dedicated grandad to his cherished grandchildren: Megan, Lauren, Luke, Kayleigh, Paul, Ashley, Alexis, Tiffany, and Benjamin. He also leaves behind his great grandchildren: Louie, Jaxon, Thomas, Dillon, Marco and Colby. Colin passed away at home on March 24, at the age of 86.

Colin dedicated more than 40 years of his life to his career as a dispatch manager at Duralay/Lintafoam, where he was known for his hard work and commitment.

In his personal life, Colin enjoyed the simple pleasures. He loved his daily walks with his beloved dog, Brodie, and looked forward to enjoying a couple of pints three times a week, along with playing darts and relaxing at the sauna.

A celebration of Colin’s life will be held at Accrington Crematorium on April 9, at 1.40pm.

Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Research in his honour.

Arrangements are being handled by Johnson Durning Woods Funeral Service 01706 214498.

Colin’s warmth and kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
