The obituary notice of Daniella Louise (Danni) BOURNE

I met you when I had just moved back to Asia, and was looking for advice or leads about re-starting my career here. You generous with your time. It was shocking to learn about your passing today. Will say a prayer for you, hoping you rest in peace.

I am 11 months late to find out that Danni is no longer with us, but still I must write this tribute. Danni was a spirited young woman, someone who made friends easily and brought cheer to conversations. It is a blessing to have gotten to meet Danni a few times while she was in Singapore. She was interested in expanding her network with people who were in the sustainability sector in Singapore, so I invited her for some group outings. The first time I saw Danni in person was when we shared some vegan ice cream at Kind Kones at Forum the shopping mall in 2021, and then later we visited the ArtScience museum to see the "Planet or Plastic" exhibition by National Geographic. I still remember sitting at the table at the Marina Bay Sands foodcourt and having a conversation with her about nuclear power energy for Singapore. We also kept in touch over WhatsApp and facebook. The last message she sent me was in March 2023. She was waaaaay too young to be taken away from us!!! Hope to meet her again, in another world....

Love you, forever and always

Until now, Danni, the sudden news still hasn't sunk in yet, and a part of me likes to take comfort in believing that you are still going on your adventures and traveling the world.

You are the bravest, most independent and adventurous person I know. You always knew how to live and enjoy life.

Thank you for sharing your inspiring, bright energy. I will always cherish all the moments, the laughter and treasure the lessons. I know right now you are climbing the highest mountains, surfing the biggest waves, playing endless videogames, petting all the cats and partying hard up there in Heaven. You will always be loved and remembered. Rest in peace, Danni.
