Dad.
We were separated for a few years before your passing. But I never stopped loving you and I have thought about you every single day.
But we had some really good times together over the year's. You could certainly make me laugh, that day when you had a wet shave at the Turkish barbers was so funny, I have never laughed so much in my life and don't think I ever will again. And when we lost the cars at Egton Show, we laughed about that.
John and Joan have just sent me a card with a photo of you on the walk back in 2016, you look so happy with your friends. And Eileen is on the photo with you, say hello if you see her up there wherever you both are. Two amazing people who will be missed forever.
And so many people are upset, you won't believe how many friends you had.
I know you are resting and I have been helping the funeral staff to look after you. Although I wish you were back with us, happy and healthy it has been a privilege to spend time with you and help prepare you for your final journey.
When you lived in Loftus I had never seen you so happy but now I have never seen you look so at peace.
Sleep tight Dad and just rest now. I know we will meet again one day somewhere but until then I will keep doing you proud.
I Love you more than you will ever know.
Damian.
